Grand Opening of Pepper Lunch Pavilion

The grand opening of the first Pepper Lunch outlet in Malaysia was held on Tuesday 16 December 2008. A big crowd of business associates, friends and family were present to witness the event.

Our guests of honour was the founder of Pepper Lunch, Mr Kunio Ichinose (President of Pepper Food Services Co. Ltd) himself. This is the man who invented the ingenious electromagnetic hot plate and launched hundreds of Pepper Lunch restaurants in Japan and throughout the world. He was accompanied by another Director, Mr Kanno.

Also present were Mr Suzuki (Group CEO, Suntory F&B International) and Mr Kamada (MD, SFBI Asia Pac), representatives of the Japan Embassy, Tun Dr Lim Keng Yaik and a host of Datuks and Datins.

Our guests were entertained by a talented team of Taiko drummers as they sizzled their lunch to perfection!
